For the past seventeen years I have been a member of the IT support staff for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Throughout this time I have held many roles ranging from Computer Support Specialist to Local Area Network Administrator to Senior Systems Analyst and Team Lead.

In my current role as team leader for the Solutions Design and Implementation team, I am responsible for assisting project managers and their teams with the implementation of solutions in accordance to the approved Detailed Architecture Designs and ensuring that the designs are implemented correctly and in accordance with enterprise architecture standards.

In a previous role of technical lead for x86 virtualization utilizing VMware virtualization solutions and IBM ds Series fiber attached storage systems.  As part of this role I was responsible for the ongoing architectural design and implementation of the VMware vSphere cloud computing solution.


Vice President (Past) of the Newfoundland and Labrador Lacrosse Association

This was a volunteer position reporting to the President of the association. The Vice President oversee all operations of the association while seeking out opportunities for growth and improvement. I provide the executive committee with direction across all sectors of the association and will help to develop and maintain lacrosse programs that effectively responds to needs of our membership and players. The vice president ensures that the association consistently adheres to best practices and standards in the areas of quality, planning, and continuous improvement and will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures, processes, and controls pertaining to the operations of the Newfoundland and Labrador Lacrosse Association.


Social Media Consultant for the Newfoundland and Labrador Lacrosse Association

As social media consultant, I am responsible for creating an on-line presence for the Newfoundland and Labrador Lacrosse Association. This includes maintain Facebook pages and groups; creating and updating association website using WordPress; maintaining all league communications to players and parents using Gmail and MailChimp; and providing advice on the use of Twitter and other forms of social media technologies.

Also provide expertise in the use of on-line banking and direct deposit Square point of sales technology.
