Over the past few months I’ve been following Weight Watchers and a common theme in their on-line community is people not wanting to go to the gym because they feel intimidated and that everyone is staring at them. This is a great article for people who feel this way.
One thing to really keep in mind is that everyone had to start somewhere. Even the hulk over in the corner started out small and worked his way up.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help and don’t think that everyone looking at you is laughing to themselves. When I see a new person at the gym the first thing that comes to my mind is respect. Seriously, how can you not respect someone who is working towards their goals?
